Andrew joined RCF in 2020 and was appointed Head of RCF Innovation Funds in January 2024. Previously, he was founder, CEO, and director of a leading mining technology firm, MineWare Pty Ltd. Andrew established MineWare in 2005 after independently creating and commercialising the world’s most advanced dragline monitoring system, Pegasys. In 2017, Andrew successfully oversaw the acquisition of the MineWare business by Komatsu Ltd. While at Komatsu, Andrew oversaw the company’s growth and led the integration of the MineWare business into the global Komatsu group. He maintained responsibility for MineWare’s strategic management and operational performance and was also a member of the Komatsu senior executive leadership team for mining.
