Ian joined RCF in 2024 following over a decade of investment banking experience in the metals and mining sector. Prior to RCF, he was an investment banker at Cormark Securities Inc. based out of Toronto, Canada, where most recently he was Managing Director and Head of Mining Advisory. Ian has advised a significant number of Canadian and global mining companies on wide range of strategic initiatives, from standalone considerations to buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, including corporate and asset-level deals; aggregate transaction value of approximately $20 billion over more than 40 deals. Prior to Cormark he was at Raymond James in Toronto in a similar capacity.
