The Colorado School of Mines Fellowship 

A number of our employees have graduated from the Colorado School of Mines and we are a longtime supporter of the school. We have provided an annual fellowship to a graduate student in Mining and Earth Systems Engineering, Mineral and Energy Economics, or Geology and Geological Engineering, since 2002. In addition to the financial grant, the fellowship recipient(s) will be considered for a summer internship opportunity which provides valuable exposure to mining finance.

Australia

The University of Western Australia

In 2007, our Managing Partner James McClements established the Mining Leaders Scholarship at UWA. In 2008, we together with Ausenco, St Barbara Limited and The Trafigura Group, endowed the scholarship. Up to two scholarships per annum are awarded to encourage students with a keen interest in the resources and/or mining sector to undertake relevant full-time study in a Master of Business Administration course. Applications open mid-July for awarding in November/December.

The Schulich School of Business Scholarship

York University’s Schulich School of Business provides second-year MBA students with the opportunity to graduate with a specialization in Global Mining Management (GMM). We support this innovative program with an annual scholarship that provides financial assistance to a student in the GMM program who is pursuing a career in the mining industry.
